GETTING TO UL .... you can either drive, take the bus or cycle
LOCATED ON THE 345 BUS ROUTE from Clonlara to Limerick city centre or to Killaloe/ Scariff. 5 buses a day to Limerick City e.g. 07.49am, 10.56am, 13.33, 16.31 & 19.40. Then you could take the 304 bus from Limerick City e.g. William Street to UL. 345 Clonlara Bus service operates 7 days a week. See buseireann.ie for timetables etc. The Clonlara village bus stop is right outside the property side gate. With TFI Leap card fares as low as €1.30 or 65cent see leapcard.ie
A 7km cycle across to UL (Via Derryfadda/ gillogue to the North Campus access) or 5 min drive to Gillogue (North Campus, County Clare entrance to UL followed by a 10/15 min walk). Should you buy a bike, we have sheds to house your bikes. Previous students have done this and cycled over in 20/25 mins. You just need high vis, a helmet and waterproof jacket/pants etc.
What has Clonlara got to offer ... Pretty village, riverside walks available directly from the doorstep. Located in the centre of the village, walking distance to the village pubs and community centre and 1312 Brew coffee shop.There is no shop but Tesco, Supervalu and Dunnes Stores all offer home delivery of groceries.
